Christian Couchoud appointed Head of Human Resources for Crédit Agricole Assurances
Christian Couchoud began his career in 1992 with Arthur Andersen, where he spent four years as a financial auditor. In 1996, he moved to the BNP group as internal control and finance manager for the bond subsidiary BNP Finance.
In 1998, he joined the Crédit Agricole Group as a special project manager with the back-office units for market activities at Crédit Agricole Indosuez. In 2000, he joined the Caisse Nationale de Crédit Agricole’s risk division, overseeing the Basel II project for the Regional Banks. After transferring to LCL’s internal audit department in 2005, his missions included heading up the bank’s permanent control activities.
In February 2008, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer at Pacifica, the Crédit Agricole Assurances Group’s non-life insurance subsidiary, before heading up Pacifica’s Human Resources Department from April 2012.
Christian Couchoud, 44, is an Agro Paris Tech engineer and has a postgraduate DEA in finance from Paris-Dauphine.
