Crédit Agricole Assurances is pleased to announce the appointment of:
– Clément Michaud as Head of Group Insurance at Crédit Agricole Assurances and Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Assurances Retraite;
– Gaël Amblard, as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Pacifica. Gaël will join the Crédit Agricole Assurances Executive Committee in this capacity.
Clément Michaud, Head of Group Insurance at Crédit Agricole Assurances and Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Assurances Retraite.
Clément has been Chief Financial Officer of Crédit Agricole Assurances since 2017.
He began his career with Gemini Consulting in 2000, where he was tasked with strategy, project management and marketing assignments in banking and telecoms. In 2004, he joined the Boston Consulting Group to conduct strategy, organisation and finance consulting assignments.
In 2007, Clément joined AXA as Strategic Auditor. In 2010, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of AXA’s property and casualty insurance line and went on to join AXA Poland in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer. He was subsequently appointed interim Chief Executive Officer in 2016.
Clément (49) is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Supélec.
He is a member of the Crédit Agricole Assurances Executive Committee.

Gaël Amblard, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Pacifica, Crédit Agricole Assurances’ property and casualty insurance subsidiary.
Gaël has been Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Caisse Régionale Loire Haute-Loire since 2020.
He began his career in Rouen in 1994 as Corporate Account Manager with Caisse Régionale de Haute Normandie. In 2000, he became Director of the Le Havre Corporate Business Centre and, in 2003, he went on to become Head of sales enablement at Caisse Régionale Normandie Seine before becoming Deputy Sales Director. In 2010, he was appointed Head of Retail and Real Estate, and then Head of Marketing and Retail.
In 2013, Gaël joined Caisse Régionale des Savoie as Head of Corporate and International.
Gaël (53) is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de la Rochelle and the Institut Technique de Banque.
