Serge Magdeleine has been Chief Executive Officer of LCL since January 2024. He is a member of Crédit Agricole S.A.’s Executive Committee.
Serge Magdeleine began his career in consulting at Mercer Oliver Wyman in 1996 and then as founding president of Empruntis.com in 1999. He joined Crédit Agricole S.A. in 2001 as Head of Online Banking, then joined the Paris and Ile-de-France Regional Bank in 2006 as Head of the Distribution and Multi-Channel division. In 2007, he joined the Centre-Est Regional Bank as Head of Corporate and International Affairs and then, in 2010, the Alpes Provence Regional Bank as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. In 2015, he became Head of the Group’s Digital Pathways and Chief Executive Officer of CA Technologies et Services in 2016. He was appointed Head of Digital and IT Transformation at Crédit Agricole Group in 2019 and oversees the Group Information Systems Division and CA Group Infrastructure Platform while retaining the General Management of CA Technologies et Services. In 2020, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Alpes Provence Regional Bank.
He is a graduate of the Ecole nationale des Ponts et chaussées and holds an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs.
