Responsible insurer

Crédit Agricole Assurances has signed the Principles for Sustainable insurance (PSI)

Acting as a responsible insurer means listening to our customers and their needs, knowing them and understanding them. It also means supporting them and insuring them against the hazards of life. Finally, it means anticipating, innovating and knowing how to help the most vulnerable.

60,000
Since 2011, we have supported nearly 60,000 young people by enabling them to enrol on defensive driving courses.

INSURANCE OFFERINGS

Based on benchmarks developed with our internal and external stakeholders, 100% of our new offerings will incorporate CSR criteria by 2025.

RESPONSIBLE SAVINGS

To meet the needs of customers who wish to invest their savings in meaningful, socially responsible or environmental projects, we are expanding our range of CSR-labelled (SRI, Greenfin or Finansol) Responsible Unit-Linked Products, which by the end of 2025 will total €28 billion in assets under management compared with €14 billion at the end of 2021. At the end of 2023, CSR-labelled unit-linked assets under management amounted to €23.4 billion.

We are committed to supporting farmers and have pledged to help one farmer in four cope with climate change, by:

Supporting the crop insurance reform to provide protection against extreme weather events.

Covering renewable energy installations (photovoltaic and methanisation plants)

Verbatims

“The creation of a CSR reference framework for our savings and retirement products has led us to reflect on our responsibility as an insurer in relation to social issues, and to interview experts from associations and socially responsible companies, for example. As a result of these discussions, we have sought to facilitate access to information for all, and to include more educational content on the specific technical, legal and financial aspects of life insurance in our customer communication materials, to make it easier for customers to know where they stand.”
