Closing act of the CAA Assurances “Innov & Act” Challenge

January 2 2023

The first CAA Innov & Act start-up challenge ended on 25 November with the pitch party and prize-giving ceremony, which rewarded the three winners chosen for the quality of their projects: Alphonse in first place, Neuroprofiler in second place (the Jury’s choice) and Buddy in third place (the public’s choice).

After a two-month call for applications, 48 start-ups submitted a project on the theme of retirement planning (awareness and onboarding, developing a retirement project, transition to retirement). The CAA expert mentors (Collective Insurance, Individual Retirement Savings, Spirica, Transformation/IS Division, Strategy, and Compliance) analysed the applications, met the most interesting applicants, and finally selected 11 finalists.

On 24 November, these finalists, assisted by their CAA mentors, perfected their projects in our LE44 lab. Employees also had an opportunity to meet the start-ups at a forum organised on the same day. On the morning of 25 November, the teams put the finishing touches to their presentations. In the afternoon, each start-up co-pitched its project with its mentor to a Jury chaired by Philippe Dumont.
